Our Mission
To establish a purposeful and forward-looking platform for the alumni of Rangpur Polytechnic Institute (RPI) that promotes social, cultural, and professional pursuits; fosters greater unity, fellowship, and mutual support; contributes to the continuous development and global recognition of our beloved alma mater; and plays a vital role in advancing accelerated and sustainable national progress
Our Objectives
We aim to achieve our mission by pursuing the following objectives that are embedded in the constitution of RPI Alumni Association (RPIAA), Rangpur:
1. Strengthen the bond, fellowship, and professional networking among members and well-wishers of the Association
2. Enhance and uphold the professional competency, ethics, and integrity of alumni.
3. Connect and collaborate with various alumni societies, professional clubs, and organizations at home and abroad.
4. Provide support to members, their families, and current students/staff of RPI in times of need, and organize humanitarian initiatives during national calamities.
5. In collaboration and consultation with RPI authority, carry out the following:
(a) Promote and uphold the image and heritage of RPI as a center of excellence in technical education.
(b) Support initiatives to improve education, research, and technical facilities at RPI, including participation in competitions, seminars, and conferences.
(c) Mobilize funds from members, patrons, organizations, and well-wishers both locally and internationally for development projects jointly selected with RPI authority.
(d) Facilitate intellectual exchanges with advanced institutions and universities worldwide.
(e) Provide career counselling, mentorship, and guidance for students and graduates.
6. Organize awareness programs, networking events, and campaigns to expand membership, and collect contributions, donations, and grants from members, patrons, institutions, and organizations for implementing RPIAA’s activities.
7. Develop and maintain a dynamic database of alumni, including their professional expertise and interests, and ensure regular communication through publications, newsletters, and digital platforms.
8. Arrange social and cultural activities such as reunions, picnics, sports, dinners, and cultural programs to strengthen social cohesion among members.
9. Conduct seminars, workshops, conferences, and discussion forums on relevant technical and national issues.
10. Encourage research, innovation, and publication of technical books, journals, and knowledge-sharing resources.
11. Establish a code of ethics and professional discipline for all members of the Association.
12. Build partnerships and collaborations with similar alumni associations, technical institutions, and universities at home and abroad.
